MOCKINGBIRD LOGISTICS LLC

Mockingbird Logistics LLC was established August 8th 2025 by owner Ryan L. Bigham in Lubbock Texas to build on his dream to become a professional driver. Ryan’s passion for the road stems mostly from his childhood, watching his family come and go in 18-wheelers, he strived to follow in their footsteps. Unfortunately his health at the time held him back so he had to return to the drawing board and came across the Newspaper industry in 2010. 

During his employment he found the challenge of daily logistics interesting and did what he could to learn the many positions required to develop a newspaper. From the pre-press to “paperboy”, Ryan learned he enjoyed managing logistical challenges and honed his profession for 15 years. Ending up with experience in most pressroom, mailroom, and delivery positions. 

The newspaper industry was slowing down, and eventually his career would face its first major issue in 2020, at the height of the pandemic. His family could stay in central Texas and he would need to start over in a new company, or they could transfer into a new plant and his knowledge would continue to grow. He chose the latter, moving to Lubbock Texas with his family to continue his career for another 5 years.

Eventually that had to also be moved, but this time, Ryan had an offer he couldn't ignore. To start his own 3PL or third party logistics company and help the local paper continue to serve its consumers. His time to prove himself and use the many years of knowledge gained had been recognized and continues to drive his ambition to this day. That is how Mockingbird Logistics LLC came into existence.
